Altars & Ritual

A place for remembrance, connection, and what matters to you.

I love creating altars. Choosing a cloth, arranging flowers, placing a photograph—small gestures that give a relationship somewhere to be remembered and tended.

An altar might honour someone who has died, connect you with your ancestry, or mark something changing in your life. It can hold gratitude, grief, questions, and love.

Where to Begin

Choose a place where you would like to pause. Bring a few objects that hold meaning for you: a photograph, flowers, a handwritten name, something made by hand, or an object connected with a memory.

Take a moment to notice what you want to give attention to. You might speak, pray, share a story, or simply sit quietly.

Let the meaning guide your choices. If you are drawing on a particular cultural or religious tradition, take time to learn about its context and practices.

Creating an Altar Together

Sometimes it helps to have someone accompany you—especially when there is grief, uncertainty, or a wish to connect more deeply.

I offer individual online calls to help you create a personal altar. We can explore your intention, meaningful materials, and ways to spend time with and care for it.

You are welcome with your own beliefs, questions, and family traditions.

❋ A Place to Remember

Photographs, names, and meaningful objects give us somewhere to return to a relationship, to share a story, express gratitude, or make room for grief.

❋ Connection Through the Senses

Arranging flowers, touching a familiar object, or lighting a candle can bring our attention to the present and make remembrance a tangible experience.

❋ A Practice to Return To

An altar can become part of everyday life: a place to pause, acknowledge what is changing, and give attention to what sustains us.

Altar & Ritual Guidance

I offer individual online calls to support you in creating a personal altar and developing rituals that feel meaningful in your life.

You may wish to remember someone, connect with your ancestors, cleanse your space, or find grounding when you feel unsettled.

Together, we explore your intention, meaningful materials, and how to begin and tend your practice, with care for your beliefs and the traditions that inform it.

Individual online call · 60 minutes · €100
Materials are not included. You can begin with things you already have at home.

Ritual & Body Care

Individual guidance for bringing ritual, sensory awareness, and simple practices of care into your everyday life.

You may want to explore essential oils as part of a personal ritual, find grounding, or give attention to tension and discomfort in your body.

Together, we explore your experience and consider gentle practices such as movement, rest, sensory grounding, or a meaningful daily ritual. Where essential oils are involved, we discuss appropriate use and relevant precautions.

My experience with essential oils comes from independent study, my experience as a palliative care nurse and running an essential oils business. These calls offer support for wellbeing rather than diagnosis or treatment of pain. New, persistent, or unexplained pain needs assessment by a healthcare professional.

Care & Responsibility I approach altar-making and ritual as personal, relational, and spiritual practices. The meaning of what we create matters, alongside care for the people, places, and traditions connected with it. Your beliefs, boundaries, and choices guide our work. You are welcome to question, adapt, or decline any invitation. When drawing on a particular cultural tradition, I acknowledge its origins and remain attentive to the limits of my own knowledge and training. I do not offer ceremonies that require cultural authority or initiation I do not hold. These calls offer guidance in personal ritual and remembrance. They do not provide psychotherapy, crisis support, medical treatment, or verification of spiritual experiences. Before we begin, we discuss what you are seeking and whether I can appropriately support you. Where a request falls outside my experience or scope, I will be honest about that and, where possible, suggest another source of guidance.

I consider each request with care and may decline work that falls outside my experience, risks harm, or asks me to use cultural practices without the knowledge or permission they require.
